About IWCA

"Imamia Welfare & Cultural Association (IWCA) is engaged in welfare and cultural activities within the National Capital Region of Delhi. IWCA was established in the year 2005 with an objective of fulfilling the aspiration of a group of individuals to work for the welfare of the underprivileged sections of the society and also to uplift of our cultural heritage.
During the last couple of years in line with this avowed objective we have been facilitators for medical treatment, marriage of destitute girls, educational help to poor meritorious students, arranging gainful employment for unemployed and indigent, organizing assistance in funeral to those requiring the same apart from organizing seminars for emphasizing our moral, ethnic and religious values with emphasis on the concept of brotherhood and equality of mankind understood in light of Islamic Principles."
We operate on the basis of ZERO (0.00) % administration costs, so every contribution we get it goes directly to those in need.

Aims and Objectives of the Association:


  • To organize seminars and discourses throughout the year to highlight sacrifice made by Masoomeens (A.S.) and other eminent historical personalities in achieving the true goal of humanity.
  • To educate people about the virtues of non-violence, human values and spiritualism by two-way interaction between eminent scholars and general mass.
  • Helping needy and destitute in finding gainful employment.
  • To help financially poor and needy students in pursuit of higher education.
  • To provide financial assistance to the needy and poor families for the medical treatment.
  • To financial assist poor and needy, based on recommendation of at least two members of the Association. Marriage/Medical purpose loan can be provided to only members of the Association.
  • The Association intends to float scholarship schemes for economically weaker students who have finished their plus two after high school in acquiring technical knowledge such as computer courses, refrigeration and air condition repairing and installation, electrician, plumbing etc. so that they can be financially secured and also help their families.
  • The Association will keep adequate fund and other resources to be able to provide financial help to poor and needy community member with the expenses related to last rites (kafan etc.) of their family member whenever they cannot afford. This assistance will be done on recommendation of at least two members of the Association.
  • To undertake any other welfare or cultural scheme envisaged by the Governing body and passed by the General Body.
